Parenting fact or fiction? If you have 2 boys close in age, you must buy 2 of everything to avoid squabbling over the item you have only one of.

FICTION - Take this as an opportunity to teach your boys about sharing. Besides, remember the time the 2 argued over who was allowed to turn on/off an imaginary light switch. They will fight regardless.

FACT - F*ck the fiction argument. Live with fewer fights. Buy 2 of everything!

C2 was clearly the victor in this battle. Can you guess what they were fighting over?

crushed A bit of brotherly love proved too much for c1. The 2 boys were sitting side-by-side when I last looked. I came back to this scene and c1 whining. My explanation that c2 was just hugging him was met with, "OKAY, but he's crushing me." Poor guy.

quiet!! The goodman just left with the boys. If it weren't for the constant banging from workers ripping up the front steps or the excavator humming in the backyard, the throbbing in my head might finally stop.
